A new event for the accountancy profession has been launched by Dermot Hamblin and Richard Brewin.

ACCT For the Future is 2 day event to be held at Crowne Plaza, Hotel in Marlow. The event takes place on 21 and 22 September.

The event is aimed to give accountancy business owners the opportunity to take time out and think about the business they want, rather than the business they have. Speakers at the event have over 225 years’ experience in the accountancy sector and 5 qualified Chartered accountants. The keynote speaker is Steve Cunningham. Steve went blind at the age of 12, but has subsequently paid football for the England Blind team, flown around the UK and is the fastest blind man to drive across Lake Windermere. They include:

The event will enable you to consider all aspects of your accountancy businesses strategy and come out with a stronger plan, than when you started the event. It will be followed up by one accountability call with Richard and Dermot.

The event has been designed to be the opposite of everything that attendees don’t like about accountancy businesses:

“Everything has been designed to create an inspiring learning experience for the attendees, from great speakers, proven learning tools and a relaxed, but inspiring environment.” The event is hooked around the Envision methodology that Brian Coventry has developed, which is aimed at clearing all project obstacles prior to large object being implemented.” said Dermot Hamblin. Richard Brewin added it’s aimed at accountancy owners and senior managers to enable them to have the space to think about their business. The pace of change in the industry is such that those

who devised a plan at the start of the year, will need to revisit it. Richard a qualified accountant of 40 years standing, has been running his coaching group, Progress BB for many year now.

Due to the approach, that Richard and Dermot are taking, the event is paid for: the normal ticket price is £999 plus VAT, which includes hotel room and buffet on 21 September. Early Birds are available at £650 plus Vat, which includes bedroom.

Why leave it there?
