After an overwhelming debut in 2022, the Australian CFO Awards are returning for a highly anticipated second year.

Nominations are now open, inviting submissions from across the nation to celebrate the remarkable achievements of finance professionals and teams who have demonstrated exceptional expertise and transformative contribution to their organisations on behalf of the finance function.

“We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Australian CFO Awards, an event dedicated to honouring financial leaders who epitomise excellence,” shared Adriana Amato, Founder at the Australian CFO Community. “We invite the business community to participate and look forward to recognising those who have redefined financial leadership in their organisations.”

In addition to the spend management platform Weel who founded the Australian CFO Community in 2022, this year’s edition of the Australian CFO Awards is also proudly sponsored by accounting and business advisory PKF, Australian fraud-tech company Eftsure and executive leadership coach Alena Bennet, who share Weel’s commitment to recognising excellence in financial leadership.

“CFOs play a vital role in creating value for shareholders, maintaining governance and accountability within companies and helping their businesses contribute to broader society,” says Nicholas Falzon, Business Advisory Services at PKF Sydney. “They are so critical in well run organisations and we are proud to support them each and every day. For those same reasons we feel privileged to support these awards which celebrate the best of the best within this area of our profession.”

The CFO Awards will welcome nominations until 13 October, 5pm (AEDT). Individuals are also encouraged to self-nominate, providing an opportunity for the broader financial community to shine a spotlight on the brightest minds in financial leadership.

The 2023 winners will be announced 3 November, at the luxurious Calyx (Botanic Gardens) and promises to be an evening of celebration..
