Ignition, the world’s first client engagement and commerce platform for the professional services industry, has appointed Drew Woodcock as Global Vice President of Sales, based in Austin, TX.

With more than a decade of vertical SaaS experience, Drew joins the company's executive leadership team and will report to Guy Pearson, CEO and Co-founder at Ignition. In his role, Drew will lead Ignition’s global sales team to develop and accelerate sales processes and strategic partnerships that position Ignition for strong revenue growth, especially in North America as Ignition's fastest growing market.

“We are thrilled to welcome Drew to our team to further accelerate our presence in North America,” said Guy Pearson, CEO and Co-founder at Ignition. “Drew’s appointment is a critical step in further operationalising our sales function and reaching customers around the world, many of whom are in North America.”
“The Global VP of Sales role further complements our established and globally distributed leadership team. Drew will work with our Regional Managing Directors including Matt Kanas in the Americas and our global VPs in Marketing, Product and Customer Experience” Guy said.
Drew Woodcock, Global VP of Sales said, “I’ve joined Ignition at a time of significant growth, as the company surpasses 6,000 customers and nearly USD$2.5 billion in client payment transactions globally. As more accounting and professional services businesses look to automation to operate more efficiently, better service their clients and improve cash flow, Ignition is well positioned to capture these exciting opportunities in the US and more mature markets like Australia.”

Prior to Ignition, Drew held senior leadership positions across medical and hospitality technology companies including Brightwheel, ChowNow, and Torch Technology. Drew is also an advisor to start-ups, and a founding member of CREW, a community set out to strengthen business leaders across the US.

Drew’s appointment follows the recent establishment of the Ignition Council in North America. In November 2022, Ignition enlisted 16 leading accounting, bookkeeping, and tax entrepreneurs to support the company on its ambitious path to transform accounting and professional services businesses.

In January 2023, Ignition announced the company joined the National Association of Enrolled Agents strategic partners program which connects companies with influential tax professionals within NAEA’s 8,000 members.
