This year, we’re stoked to bring Kiwi accountants and bookkeepers together for The Tune-Up, an exciting virtual experience, brought to you by Xero Talks. This two-hour afternoon event is an ideal opportunity to get your team together – online or in the office – in what’s been a big year.

As we head towards the end of 2021, The Tune-Up provides an opportunity to connect, fuel up on inspiration, and fine tune your practice. This online experience will focus on helping you keep your practice in tip-top shape and running smoothly by making the most of Xero and connecting with experts in business and wellbeing. You’ll be able to catch up on product updates, join conversations, and be thoroughly entertained.

The best part is you can customise the event and tune into the conversations you’re most interested in. We’ll have a DJ along for the ride and prizes to give away too. Here’s a sneak peak of what you’re in for:

Hear keynotes from Xero staff and expert industry speakers

Our MC for the afternoon is engineer and nanotechnologist, bestselling author, television presenter and creator of Nanogirl, Dr Michelle Dickinson.

You’ll also hear keynotes from a number of expert industry speakers including Dr Lucy Hone, who assists organisations to design and implement wellbeing and resilience initiatives creating sustained and meaningful change. Lucy is an Adjunct Senior Professor at the University of Canterbury and co-director of the New Zealand Institute of Wellbeing & Resilience.

And to top off some incredible industry speakers, you’ll also have the opportunity to sit in on a Xero leadership team panel discussion with me and my guests, Chief Customer Officer, Rachael Powell, Chief Product Officer, Anna Curzon and Executive General Manager of Partner Sales, David Bell. You’ll hear about Xero’s aspirations in New Zealand and globally, what to expect in the next couple of years, and where we see ourselves heading in the future.

Choose your content and watch your way

Dial in from the comfort of your home or office and design your viewing experience by choosing your own track.

The first stream, Amplifying your advisory services will be a 10-minute korero with one of our aspirational advisory partners. The second stream, Going digital and driving productivity will be a discussion about the links between digitalisation, wellbeing and productivity, hosted by me.

And if you can’t decide, don’t worry – all the content from both streams will be available on demand.

Touch base with Xero staff via virtual roundtables

Our Xero experts will stay online for 30 minutes after the final keynote, so there’s a further chance to touch base with them. You can also continue networking with your accounting peers.

The event platform will stay open for about a month for you to access resources and session recordings. And keep a lookout for an email with information on accessing the content on demand.

The Tune-Up is coming to your screen on Friday 26 November 2021 from 12 noon to 2pm. The event is free to attend for our New Zealand-based accountants and bookkeepers so register now to join us online. We can’t wait to see you!
